It’s still a full-fledged JRPG, and nothing will convince me that it isn’t, but it basically felt like playing a DS game (albeit a more advanced one). Being a mobile game, WitchSpring3 is a little, shall we say, compressed. Timespinner Switch NSPĮirudy’s run-in with this curious stranger finds her being roped into an adventure that will ultimately help her discover who she truly is-and just exactly what she and her newfound friends are capable of doing when they work together. So secluded is Eirudy’s life, in fact, that she’s never met a single living soul aside from her grandmother-but that all changes when she one day saves a young man from being attacked by a wild boar. WitchSpring3 Re:Fine follows the story of Eirudy, a mysterious young “marionette witch” living a secluded life in the Misty Forest-a befuddling, magical forest located on the continent of Derkarr who guarantees that almost any who enter will find themselves lost. Well, I guess it’s technically a Switch game, now-and a slightly improved one at that-but the sentiment still stands.

So, for better or worse, the second that I hear “originally a mobile game,” I fear for the worst-but, boy, did I goof when I applied those fears to WitchSpring3 Re:Fine.
